Assembly offers premium custom merch design through a digital platform, moving away from the hurdles of traditional design specs and endless email communication toward a hassle-free, self-service approach. I led the process of rethinking the entire customer journey, expanding the marketing website to showcase the full product catalog and detailed client case studies as a source of inspiration. A Color Bright also directed new product photography to strengthen the brand’s visual identity.

To make the product experience more accessible, we focused on improving how customization options are explained and showcased. By refining the UX to reveal options and steps progressively — rather than relying on video tutorials — we ensured the tool feels playful, intuitive, and not overwhelming. Finally, we improved the checkout flow to give customers a clear overview of their order, along with transparent pricing and delivery time estimates.
