Radicle
A privacy-preserving, open-source network for code collaboration

Radicle is an open-source, peer-to-peer code collaboration network offering a secure, decentralized alternative to centralized platforms. As the product and community grew, the team needed clearer positioning and a more cohesive presence. A Color Bright supported Radicle across strategy, brand, website, and product. The new identity centers on the radicle mark — a visual starting point referencing binary systems and the human–machine relationship. Its logic carries through geometric type, structured layouts, and a color palette inspired by digital nature, creating a unified system across all touchpoints.
My task was to redesign the desktop Mac app based on that identity and build a design system as its foundation. The design system now underpins both the Mac app and the web version of the hosted platform, Radicle Garden, ensuring a consistent experience across native and web.
Project Goals
- Create a design system to serve as the foundation for the desktop app and the web version of the hosted platform1
- Redesign the Mac application for a more native feel and better system integration2
- Make the experience more consumer-friendly and less targeted at only the "cyberpunks"3
